Eucalyptus gilli

Silver grey leaved mallee trees make beautiful ornamentals. The lemon yellow gum blossoms are prolific and draw a mass of busy bees. You can see this in bloom now in the mallee display garden at the Goodman Gate of the Adelaide Botanic Garden.

This beautiful gallery at the edge of the CBD of Melbourne is such a treat to visit. I’ve seen a sneak peak of the exhibition and it is really exciting.
