Silver-leaved Mountain Gum or Eucalyptus pulverulenta is a huge magnificent tree.  At the Melbourne Botanic Gardens the foliage is displayed by pollarding the trees at their base to allow the foliage to form a beautiful bush.  If you stand on the opposite side to the sun, the silver leaves glow in iridescent greens and blues.
