The Transformative Power of Kindness
This week I went to the Gathering of Kindness Conference where I met Uncle Alan Parsons. I was so moved by his transformational story that I wanted to share it with you.
Alan was not the giver or receiver of kindness, but the witness and it changed him for the rest of his life. His story is such a wonderful reminder for us that simple acts of kindness can have effects we could not even imagine.
I have a solo exhibition coming up at the Hawthorn Town Hall next year but in the mean time have been painting some native flora closer to home. You can watch the time lapse below.
I hope your year is closing out well - yes, really, it’s almost end of year (I can’t believe it). If you are looking for gifts remember to check out my Australian Wildflower placemats and coasters.
I saw a great question this week. “What do I need to do today and how can I have the most fun doing it.” Worth some thought.
May you give, receive and witness small acts of kindness in your life.
